Liu An Gua Pian is a popular green tea in China. Liu An is the city where it is produced. Gua Pian refers to its shape, like that of sunflower seed in ancient China. Our superior Liu An Gua Pian tea is from Qiyun Mountain, Jinzai County. Unlike many other green teas, this tea uses no buds or stems. Tea farmers only use the leaves. The production process is the most complicated of any green tea. It includes killing the enzyme in a wok, shaping the leaf in another wok, baking it, re-baking it and reheating it a final lengthy time before trimming the leaves. Dongshan Bi Luo Chun is from the East Mountain of Tai Lake in Shuzhou, Jiangxi Province. There are two mountains in the lake, Dongshan (east mountain) and Xi (west mountain). Both mountains, but especially the east one, are home to Bi Luo Chun, which means green snail spring. The tea is renowned for its fragrance, which traces back to its environment: Many peach, plum, loquat, guava, almond and other fruit tea trees grow nearby, giving Bi Luo Chun its fruity taste and aroma. Our tea, which is directly purchased from tea farmers, is a good tea in the morning after breakfast or in the afternoon for refreshment.

Zhu Ye Qing translates as green bamboo leaf. It was named by a foreign minister, Chen Yi. He had gone to Emei Mountain and, while there, played chess and drank tea with an old monk in Wannian Temple. When he asked about the tea, the old monk told him the tea was the special product of Emei Mountain and asked Chen Yi to name it. The minister looked into the cup and saw clear water and green leaves. “It's really like the tender bamboo leaf. We can just call it zhu ye qing." Tai Ping Hou Kui is one of the Top 10 famous teas in China. Chinese President Hu Jintao gifted Russian President Vladimir Putin with it during Putin's visit from Russia in 2007. It also won a gold medal in a 1915 international exhibition in the United States. Because its picking standard is one bud with two half-matured leaves, it tastes stronger than other green teas. China's ten most popular teas include Huangshan Mao Feng from the Huangshan Mountain area. Precipitation levels on the mountain are high, causing tea bushes there to flourish. A legend attributes the year-round rain and mist to the tears of a young woman who wept for a slain lover. She cried until she became the rain. The body of her man is believed to have been transformed into the first tea bush. These leaves release an exquisite flavor, as well as an aroma hinting of magnolias. Anji Bai Cha is from Anji County, Zhejiang Province. It sometimes is called white tea, because its buds are light greenish white and don't turn green until after April 22. Anji Bai Cha contains an extremely high percentage of amino acid, 7-11 percent, compared to the 2-4 percent of other teas. The result is a super fresh and sweet tea that will awaken a drinker on a drowsy afternoon. Anji Bai Cha contains large proportions of antioxidants, almost twice as much as other green teas.
